Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas - from "Best of Vegas"

One of the best things about Las Vegas is the fun of visiting world-famous landmarks without actually having to travel there. Paris Las Vegas’ Eiffel Tower is one of those examples. The hotel-casino’s famous replica of the Parisian world wonder is approximately a half-scale exact replica of the original and features tour-guided rides to the top.
The tower was originally supposed to be a full-scale replica, but because of the proximity of the airport, the design was shrunk. Visitors can still get a great panoramic view of the city, though, when they ride up nearly 50 stories and 460 feet to the top of the tower. From the observation deck, visitors can view the entire Las Vegas Valley as well as all the Strip’s popular landmarks – which the elevator guide is happy to point out on the way up. The guide is available to answer questions, as well. The Eiffel Tower is also a great place to catch some of the Strip’s spectacular outdoor shows, such as the Fountains at the Bellagio, and visitors love watching planes coming in and taking off at the McCarran International Airport. However, it’s often the natural wonders of Las Vegas that make the Eiffel Tower’s view so breathtaking; the mountains provide a colorful and impressive backdrop to the city.
The observation deck features several openings for photograph-taking. And for those romantically motivated by the incredible views, the Eiffel Tower offers an incredible spot to pop the question, and even, hold the ceremony! On your way down, be sure to sample some French cuisine to complete the experience at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, located on the 11th floor. It provides a romantic and elegant place to dine, but be sure to make reservations in advance as the restaurant is fairly popular.
